ABSTRACT

Resumo OBJETIVO Descrever as ações de enfermeiros da Estratégia Saúde da Família acerca da Primeira Semana Saúde Integral no cuidado ao recém-nascido. MÉTODO Pesquisa descritiva, exploratória com abordagem qualitativa realizada de outubro de 2014 a fevereiro de 2015, por meio de entrevista semiestruturada, com nove enfermeiros da Estratégia Saúde da Família de João Pessoa-PB. Os dados foram submetidos à análise temática. RESULTADOS As ações identificadas na primeira visita ao bebê se baseiam nas orientações maternas acerca dos cuidados básicos ao recém-nascido, aleitamento materno, testes de triagem neonatal, imunização e puericultura, bem como avaliação da puérpera, no entanto, por vezes eram realizadas fora do período recomendado e com orientações incompletas e desatualizadas. CONCLUSÃO Embora haja potencialidades nas ações dos enfermeiros prestadas a essa população, as fragilidades comprometem a assistência ao neonato e à puérpera, sendo necessário sensibilizar esses profissionais acerca da importância e eficácia da Primeira Semana Saúde Integral.


Resumen OBJETIVO Describir las acciones de enfermeros de la Estrategia Salud de la Familia acerca de la Primera Semana Salud Integral en la atención al recién-nacido. MÉTODO Investigación descriptiva, exploratoria con abordaje calitativo, realizada de octubre de 2014 hacia febrero de 2015, por medio de entrevista semiestructurada, con nueve enfermeros de la Estrategia Salud de la Familia de João Pessoa-PB. Los datos fueron sometidos al análisis temático. RESULTADOS Las acciones identificadas en la primera visita al bebé se basan en las orientaciones maternas sobre los cuidados básicos al recién nacido, la lactancia materna, las pruebas de selección neonatal, la inmunización y la puericultura, así como la evaluación de la puérpera, pero a veces se realizaban fuera del período recomendado y con directrices incompletas y obsoletas. CONCLUSIÓN Aunque hay potencialidades en las acciones de los enfermeros prestadas a esa población, las fragilidades comprometen la asistencia al neonato y a la puérpera, siendo necesario sensibilizar a esos profesionales acerca de la importancia y eficacia de la Primera Semana Salud Integral.


Abstract OBJECTIVE To describe the nurses' actions of the Family Health Strategy about the First Week for Integral Health regarding the care devoted to the newborn. METHOD It is a descriptive, exploratory research with qualitative approach carried out from October 2014 to February 2015, through a semi-structured interview, with nine nurses from the Family Health Strategy of João Pessoa-PB. Data were submitted to thematic analysis. RESULTS The actions identified at the first visit to the newborn child are based on maternal guidance on basic newborn care, breastfeeding, neonatal screening, immunization and childcare, as well as evaluation of the puerperal, but it was sometimes performed outside the period recommended and with incomplete and outdated guidelines. CONCLUSION Although there are potentialities in nurses' actions to this population, the fragilities compromise the care of the newborn and the puerperium, and it is necessary to sensitize these professionals about the importance and effectiveness of First Week for Integral Health.

ABSTRACT

The degree of student satisfaction regarding their clinical educational experiences has an important dimensions in the assessment of institutional effectiveness. All nursing education teams are currently working on ways to improve the quality of their educational provision and increase the satisfaction of their students ,In the light of this concept the present study to assess factors affecting male student's satisfaction regarding their acquisition to maternal and newborn nursing skills at faculty of nursing Ain Shams University, Are male students satisfied with their acquisition to maternal and newborn nursing skills? And what are the factors affecting male student's satisfaction regarding their acquisition to maternal and newborn nursing skills .The study included all third year male students enrolled in obstetrical and gynecological nursing course during the academic year [2008-2009] all about 105 students. A descriptive study design was used. Two types of tools were used, Arabic structured questionnaire sheet, Student satisfaction assessment sheet. Result of study clarified presence of multi factors interfere with student's satisfaction regarding clinical skills as lab infrastructure which student's satisfied represented [55.4%] compared to 2.9% only were unsatisfied, while student's satisfactions of hospital training represented 32.6%compared to 29.4% were unsatisfied, in addition 39.6% were satisfied compared to only 14.0% were unsatisfied with the support obtained by their clinical instructors. Moreover less than half of student satisfied with procedures but 26.4% of them unsatisfied with procedures especially perineal care, breast examination and care. In addition 38.0% of students satisfied with evaluation versus to 24.1% of them were unsatisfied. Finally there were significant difference between student's satisfaction and their clinical achievements .The study concluded that there were many factors affecting student's satisfaction regarding their acquisition to maternal and newborn nursing skills as lab infrastructures or clinical instructors communication during clinical training in lab or hospital and procedures with patient and women acceptance for male student's care at hospital. The researcher recommended that enhance student's orientation session to increase their awareness about the rights and responsibilities of clinical teaching, design training programs for clinical instructors to teach them how to deal with male students, further research on large scale to investigate male's experiences and suggestions regarding clinical skills at maternal and newborn department

ABSTRACT

A qualidade dos serviços de saúde tem sido discutida nas organizações comprometidas em desenvolver programas e ações capazes de atender às expectativas dos usuários. O objetivo deste estudo foi elaborar indicadores de processo e de resultado, aplicáveis à assistência à puérpera e ao recém-nascido no período perinatal. Foi realizada revisão bibliográfica, visando identificar variáveis da assistência materno-infantil para a construção de indicadores de qualidade. Foram contempladas as dimensões biológica, psicossocial, educação em saúde, cobertura de serviço e atividades de ensino e pesquisa. Os achados permitiram constatar que a elaboração de indicadores na enfermagem ocorre mediante a articulação dos conhecimentos teórico-práticos e que a sua aplicação subsidia os gerentes no controle da qualidade assistencial, na medida em que possibilita a comparabilidade intra e extra-muros.

ABSTRACT

PURPOSE: To examine the effect of Taegyo-focused prenatal classes on maternal-fetal attachment and self-efficacy related to childbirth. METHODS: Over 4 weeks, 49 women, 20 to 36 weeks of gestation participated in a prenatal program led by the nurse who developed it. In addition to Lamaze content it included; understanding ability of fetus to respond, sharing motivation, purpose of pregnancy, and preconceptions of experiencing childbirth, training in maternal- fetal interaction, writing letters and making a declaration of love to unborn baby. Using a pre- experimental design, data were collected by self-report, before and after program, using Cranley's Maternal-Fetal Attachment Scale (1981), and Shin's (1997) Labor Self-Efficacy Measurement. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Paired t-test showed significant changes in scores of maternal-fetal attachment (t=6.91. p<.001) and self-efficacy related to childbirth (t=10.19, p<.001). Taegyo opens the possibility of integrating Western ideas with Korean traditional health behavior. Incorporation of Taegyo into existing prenatal classes is recommended.

ABSTRACT

La adherencia al programa de salud del niño y del adolescente fue estudiada en 80 madres menores de 17 años atendidas en el programa de atención integral de la comuna de Valdivia, (PAIAE). Para la recopilación de la información se aplicó una encuesta en el domicilio con las preguntas relacionadas con la percepción, opinión y razones que determinaron el uso de los servicios del programa de salud del niño y del adolescente. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el impacto de dicho programa no fue satisfactorio, ya que sólo el 58,2 porciento de las madres presentó una adherencia calificada como buena. Dentro de los factores asociados, se encontró un alto componente psicosocial de la madre y sus redes de apoyo. Además la decisión de utilizar el nivel primario de atención por problemas de morbilidad del niño, presentó una baja cobertura (114,4 porciento)

ABSTRACT

Este e um estudo descritivo-correlacional cujo objetivo foi estabelecer relacao entre as atitudes das maes face ao aleitamento materno e o incentivo a amamentacao por elas recebido nas maternidades. Teve como suporte teorico o modelo de FISHBEIN e AJZEN (1975). Cento e oitenta maes internadas nas duas maternidades do municipio de Florianopolis-SC, foram entrevistadas durante o periodo de 13 de novembro a 1 de dezembro de 1984. Para isso foram desenvolvidos uma escala de Atitudes das Maes face ao Aleitamento Materno (AMAM) e dois questionarios, um sobre Incentivo a Amamentacao recebido pelas Maes nas maternidades, contendo aspectos referentes a informacao (IAMi) e ao apoio (IAMa), e outro sobre as variaveis estranhas. Para a analise dos dados utilizaram-se o teste U de Mann-Whitney, a media dos postos dos escores obtidos e os coeficientes de correlacao de Pearson e de Spearman, quando apropriados. Os resultados demonstraram que: a) nao pode ser confirmada a primeira hipotese de pesquisa na qual afirmava que a atitude da mae na maternidade que possuisse incentivo a amamentacao seria mais favoravel do que naquela que nao tivesse tal incentivo; b) nao pode ser confirmada a hipotese de pesquisa a qual afirmava a existencia de relacao positiva entre a atitude da mae face ao aleitamento materno e o incentivo por ela recebido na maternidade, desde a internacao ate o segundo dia pos-parto; c) pode-se afirmar que exista diferenca entre experiencia anterior com a amamentacao e incentivo referente a informacao, dentre as maes da maternidade B, embora nao se possa afirmar que o incentivo, provenha de informacoes recebidas durante a internacao das maes, no periodo de coleta de dados; d) pode-se afirmar a existencia de diferenca entre escolaridade e os escores obtidos na escala de atitudes em relacao ao aleitamento materno.
